                               RESOLUTION NO. 19351
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO 
                   CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN, APPRAISER, TO 
                   APPRAISE FIVE (5) TRACTS AND TWO (2) ADD-ON 
                   TRACTS RELATIVE TO THE WIDENING OF CENTRAL 
                   AVENUE NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH CEMETARY 
                   AVENUE FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED NINE 
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($9,000.00), 
                   WHICH AMOUNT INCLUDES ONE THOUSAND AND 
                   NO/100 DOLLARS ($1,000.00) FOR EACH TRACT, 
                   IN ADDITION TO TWO THOUSAND AND NO/100 
                   DOLLARS ($2,000.00) FOR CONDEMNATION 
                   SERVICES IF NECESSARY.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to contract with 
       Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to appraise five (5) tracts and two (2) 
       add-on tracts relative to the widening of Central Avenue near its 
       intersection with Cemetary Avenue for an amount not to exceed 
       $9,000.00, which amount includes $1,000.00 for each tract, in 
       addition to $2,000.00 for condemnation services if necessary.
